Orley Farm School
Orley Farm School is the largest coeducational preparatory day school in Harrow. After a thorough selection process, the school chose Learnstor for a number of their classrooms and teaching spaces.
It emerged from our initial discussions with the school, that a huge amount of space in each of the four classrooms had previously been given over to coat and bag storage, which not only reduced the teaching space but also looked untidy.
As a solution, our design team took the decision to integrate coat and bag storage into each teaching wall, thereby freeing up valuable space and creating a smart, ordered learning environment.
In order to prove the concept, we started by installing in one classroom. Once the team at Orley Farm could witness the new design scheme and the benefits it provided to the teachers and students day-to-day, Learnstor was approved for the remaining classrooms.
The extra space then enabled us to add collaboration zones and collapsible mobile tables into each classroom.
The team at Learnstor are delighted with the final classroom layouts, as are the students, teachers and parents at Orley Farm.
We look forward to a long, collaborative future relationship with the school.
